New possibilities with digitally modulated screen technology
Advantages of this new screening technology:

Resolution
Maximum resolution that cannot be compared with normal screen rulings and can be better equated to photo quality.

Moiré
Moiré-free print results, as disturbing screen angles are eliminated.

Register
Due to the extremely high resolution and the digital modulation, possible register fluctuations vanish.

Spot colours
Areas consisting of several overprinted halftones (cmyk/cmykovg) are smoother. Therefore, typical rosette or sawtooth effect are no longer present.

Fine elements and vignettes
Areas of several overprinted halftones (cmyk/cmykovg) are smoother. Therefore, typical rosette or sawtooth effect are no longer present.

7C-printing
The printing of multi-coloured, fine elements and the simulation of spot colours requires a high edge sharpness and homogeneous areas. Now an expanded colour gamut can be achieved with 7C-printing.
Digital modulation (DM)
In the past, radio listeners could choose between modulation types "AM" and "FM" on their radio - "FM" provided better sound quality, among other things. In the meantime, there is digital radio. This offers far more possibilities and even better listening quality than "AM" and "FM".
The digitally modulated BELLISSIMA screen can be likened to transmission techniques in broadcasting. BELLISSIMA is the "digital radio" of print.
The generation of halftone dots is targeted and controlled. In this way, BELLISSIMA ensures that screen dots and screen dot structures are placed exactly where they are required.
